\"\"Giorgos Pertsas<\/strong> holds a PhD from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Department of History and Philosophy of Science). His dissertation is entitled \u201cE-government as Technopolitics: Digital Technology and State Transformation in Greece\u201d. His main research interests include processes of digital transformation and their consequences on modern institutional environments, practices of governing and state formation. He studied Law at the Law School of Athens and Political Science at Panteion University. His academic background, as well as his research orientation, have an interdisciplinary character. He draws concepts and theoretical approaches from diverse disciplines (science and technology studies, political theory, sociology, history of technology, organization and management studies, theories of governance), so as to address specific research questions.\u00a0His PhD research has been funded by the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY).\u00a0He speaks English and German and has translated in Greek essays of social and political theory from both of these languages.<\/p>\n
