{"id":4848,"date":"2018-01-23T14:07:04","date_gmt":"2018-01-23T12:07:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rchumanities.gr\/?page_id=4848"},"modified":"2021-03-22T12:17:41","modified_gmt":"2021-03-22T10:17:41","slug":"1821-partner-institutions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.rchumanities.gr\/en\/1821-partner-institutions\/","title":{"rendered":"Partner Institutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>1821 Digital Archive<\/strong> is a large scale and collaborative research project organized and implemented by the <strong>Research Centre for the Humanities (RCH)<\/strong> concerning the upcoming bicentenary of the Greek War for Independence (1821). To realize the project, the RCH has signed bilateral agreements with the majority of libraries and archival institutions which house pertinent material in their collections. These agreements were signed following in situ visits by members of the Scientific Committee, who reviewed the available material and discussed priorities with the directors of each institution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project will be carried out with the collaboration of eminent academic and other bodies, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.asfa.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Athens School of Fine Arts<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.benaki.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Benaki Museum<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.benaki.org\/index.php?option=com_collections&amp;view=collection&amp;id=100&amp;Itemid=511&amp;lang=el&amp;Itemid=556&amp;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Benaki Museum &#8211; Historical Archives<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cvf.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Captain Vassilis Foundation<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/anagnostiki-etairia-kerkyras.eu\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Corfu Reading Society<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cemog.fu-berlin.de\/en\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Center for Modern Greece (CeMoG) of Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/duth.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Democritus University of Thrace<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gak.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">General State Archives (GAK)<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theatro-technis.gr\/greek-art-theatre-karolos-koun\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Greek Art Theatre Karolos Koun<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.elia.org.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hellenic Literary and Historical Archive (ELIA)<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/jordanrussiacenter.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jordan Center for the Advanced Study of Russia (NYU)<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kozlib.gr\/kozlib_new\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Koventareios Municipal Library of Kozani<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/library.parliament.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Library of the Hellenic Parliament<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/museumalipasha.gr\/en\/museum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Museum of Ali Pasha<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kem-anogianakis.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Museum of Greek Folk Musical Instruments \u2013 The Phoebus Anoyanakis Collection<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uoa.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National and Kapodistrian University of Athens<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eie.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Hellenic Research Foundation<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nhmuseum.gr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Historical Museum<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlg.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Library of Greece<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pli.gr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation (PFF)<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dei.gr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>PPC S.A.\/ Historical Archive<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uoc.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University of Crete<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.uth.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University of Thessaly<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Research Centre for the Humanities (RCH) will work alongside the bodies listed above, with the intention to broaden even more the number of collaborating bodies as the project progresses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 1821 Digital Archive is a large scale and collaborative research project organized and implemented by the Research Centre for the Humanities (RCH) concerning the upcoming bicentenary of the Greek War for Independence (1821).
