The Research Centre for the Humanities<\/strong> (RCH), in collaboration with the Institutes of the Nordic Countries in Athens (Danish Institute at Athens<\/span>, Finnish Institute at At<\/span>h<\/span>ens<\/span>, The Norwegian Institute At Athens<\/span> and Swedish Institute at Athens<\/span>), has begun implementing a new international transdisciplinary research project, titled NORMED<\/em>.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This project aims at enhancing our understanding of modern and contemporary European history by viewing it from the perspective of two of its constitutive regions, namely the Nordic\/Baltic region and the Mediterranean.<\/div>\n

In the context of NORMED<\/em>, we will be holding regular seminars where we will be discussing the program\u2019s broader themes.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The first seminar series, titled \u201cSmall States in the Making: The Nordic and Mediterranean Regions\u201d, aspires to cross-examine the Nordics and the Mediterranean, studying the two regions through the concept of \u201csmallness\u201d.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
