The Academic Steering Committee of the 1821 Digital Archive is delighted to announce the official presentation of the project, together with the opening of an exhibition on the same theme, and under the same title, which will be held at the Benaki Museum.
The ‘1821 Digital Archive’ exhibition is an installation that explores, from a spatial perspective, our ideas of what an archive does, and how, as well as the dynamic narrative that results from approaching, in diverse ways, documents on the Revolution of 1821.
The event will mark the launch of a series of physical and online meetings designed to inform the public about the activities of the programme.
The event can be followed live on the Facebook page of the 1821 Digital Archive (https://www.facebook.com/1821DigitalArchive) and the 1821-2021 Initiative (https://www.facebook.com/protovoulia21).
